Who we are

Highlands Church was chartered on December 4, 1988, with 24 founding members who shared a vision of establishing a Christ-centered church in Bella Vista. The congregation first gathered for worship in a member's home before building what is now our Sanctuary. As God continued to bless the church, additional spaces, including our Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, and Ministries Activity Center, were added to support a growing congregation and expanding ministries.

Since then, generations of people have found a place to worship, grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and serve others through the ministries of Highlands Church. In 2026, we celebrated another milestone by paying off our mortgage, becoming debt free and positioning our church for future ministry.

Today, Highlands Church is part of the Global Methodist Church, committed to biblical teaching, meaningful worship, and helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. As we look to the future, we remain grateful for God's faithfulness in our past and excited for all He has in store for the years ahead.
